Praise for our Early Years Provision

We have seen rapid improvements to our early years provision over the last year and a recent peer review has highlighted the difference.


The quality of our early years environment, expectations and opportunities for learning is resulting in positive behaviour and effective learning by our children and was highlighted in our peer review.

Everyone is delighted to share this great news as we head towards the end of term and the summer break. We have a great deal to look forward to when school resumes once again in September.

The review audit of our Early Years and Foundation Stage was conducted by colleagues within the GLF Trust last month.

It made note of our ‘engaging and stimulating’ environment with effective use of resources and a focus on reinforcing English and maths skills.

“The children engage enthusiastically in learning experiences and are keen to develop and show their understanding further, which provides many clear opportunities for quality engagement,” says the report.

It also makes mention of the ‘exceptional’ relationships, dialogue and interaction between staff and children which is a direct result of the work staff have put in.
