In year 1 this year, our team consists of Mrs Pledge in Swifts, and Mr Jackson in Sparrows.

Important information

In Year 1, the children will be taking part in a statutory Phonics Screening Check in June 2026. The phonics screening check is a check of your child’s phonics knowledge. It helps us confirm whether your child is making the progress expected in the national curriculum. If a pupil does not meet the expected standard at the end of year 1, a programme of support should be put in place and they will re-take in year 2.
