GLF Schools

GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Teacher Led Clubs

Football Club  Netball

Clubs, both academic and sporting, are a huge part of life and learning here at Salfords Primary School. They enable children to build on their education and allow our staff to encourage particular gifts a child might have or want to develop.

Our staff kindly offer their time to deliver clubs free of charge and support the pupils within our care. Teachers run a club that allows them to continue to build strong relationships with pupils in their class or year group.

In the unlikely event that a teacher is unable to lead a club, then every effort will be made to either find another member of staff to cover or inform you and your child the day before. At times, due to weather, we have to cancel sporting clubs - a text message will be sent to parents.

Clubs lists and booking forms are sent out at the start of each term. Once your child has decided the club(s) they wish to attend, please complete the permission slip(s) and return them via the silver letterbox next to the front entrance. There is a limit to the number of places in each club so please make sure your child returns their slip(s) as soon as possible.

If your child is unable to attend a club, please put a note in your child's planner and remind your child to show it to their teacher, so that the child’s whereabouts is accounted for when the register is taken each week.
