Year 4 - Herons

Welcome to Year 4!

Herons class teacher is Mrs Emoni (M, T, W) and Mrs McLean (Th, F). Our class email is herons@salfordsschool.org.

In Year 4 this year, the children will be immersing themselves each half term within our projects:

 

1.How can we reduce evaporation? (Water cycle and clay coiling skills). 

2. What was the impact of the Roman invasion on Britain? 

3. What impact has engineering had on the lives of humans? (Victorian England, the British Empire and making electrical CAM toys). 

4. How is Britain a product of invasion? (TBC/ Vikings). 

5. Question TBC

6. - Question TBC (Geography focus). 

P.E day and Spelling test is on a Monday. The children will be given 10 spellings to learn and these will be tested each week alongside an additional two spellings from a previous rule learnt..

Year 4 children will complete the statutory Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) between Monday 3rd June and Friday 14th June. Further information about these assessment will follow later in the academic year.
